What is Cephal?
Cephal comes from the Greek kephalē, meaning "head." It's the root of two fascinating concepts:
Cephalization
The evolutionary development of a concentrated brain and nervous system at the head end of an animal. This process led to the emergence of complex thought and intelligence.
Cephalopods
The first creatures with a distinct head — octopuses, squid, and cuttlefish. Known for their remarkable intelligence, problem-solving abilities, and complex nervous systems.
I chose cephal.com because it represents the intersection of evolution, intelligence, and the pursuit of knowledge — themes that resonate with my work in AI, software engineering, and research.

Started in the CIPHER lab developing open source projects for COVID-19 contact tracing via BLE on mobile devices. Became Interim Head of the Intelligent Systems Design branch within SEAL developing C2, mesh network, 5G, radar, jamming, and swarm capabilities.
